Out on a limb is an awareness walk aimed at bringing the attention of society to the challenges faced by children living with limbs loss and the need to appropriately care for them.
On the 12th of April 2014, a thousand people will walk 2 km to :
- Create awareness about child amputees.
- Provide 2 children amputees with prosthesis(artificial limb).
About the walk
The distance of the walk is 2km(depending on your strides it will take about 40 - 50 minutes) ; the take off point is YMCA building (by mobil filling station) to Falomo Under bridge and back.
Venue: YMCA Building, 77, Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
