The Underbody

If possible, get the car on a service lift. Inspecting the car from below will give you a better impression of its overall condition. The underbody is also very likely to rust. Be wary of an undercoating, which might hide rusty spots and several damages.
The Pedals

when you have the feeling that the mileage might be manipulated – which is quite common – have a look at the pedals.
