R&B STAR MARY J. BLIGE STORMS LAGOS
Come September 27th,
all roads will lead to the Eko Hotel Convention Centre, to witness none
other than the Queen of R&B and multiple-Grammy award-winning
recording artiste Mary J. Blige LIVE in concert! In a show tagged “Sisters With Soul”, the American star will lead an all-girl ensemble of Nigeria’s top female music artistes on the bill.
The
show, promoted by the turbo-driven Kilimanjaro Entertainment, promises
to be a not-to-be-missed calendar event on the entertainment circuit.
Kilimanjaro, which has a solid reputation for having staged in Nigeria
such international artistes as Joe, Boyz II Men, Sean Paul, Dionne
Warwick, KC & JOJO, Kool & The Gang, Wyclef, TPain, Rick Ross
and the recent Chris Brown pandemonium, have stated they are pulling out
all the stops to ensure that the Mary J. Blige headlined “Sisters Of
Soul” show will be an utterly thrilling extravaganza of an event on the
social calendar.
Billed to perform on this all-girl spectacular concert is a battalion of eminent Nigerian female artistes such as Sheyi Shay, Niyola, Zaina, Victoria Kimani, Jodie, Emma Nyra, Ms. Jaie, Lola Rae and Nikki Laoye. Music will be supplied by top highly rated female disc-jockey DJ Cuppy.

2013 and commencing at 20.00 hours are N15,000 for regular, and N30,000
for VIP. Tables are also available.

Mary J. Blige is a recipient of nine Grammy Awards. Eight of her albums have reached multi-platinum status. Her album “My Life” in
particular is considered among the greatest albums ever recorded

has sold more than 50 million albums and 15 million singles worldwide.
Her 2006 song “Be Without You” is officially rated as being the top
R&B song of the 2000s. She continues to ride atop the crème de la crème of contemporary R&B music artistes.
