The Nigerian fashion world was overcome with excitement when the organizers of Africa Fashion Week London announced the date for the African Fashion Week Nigeria.

According to the organizers, AFWN believes in emerging talents. They explained that the event was to provide a visible platform for new talent and it allowed people see the opportunity in contribute to the growth, development and creativity of the fashion industry in Nigeria and Africa at large.

Easy Taxi Nigeria, a taxi hailing online mobile app took part in the Nigeria Fashion Week Nigeria as sponsors of the event. It was all fun and glamour as Easy Taxi Nigeria conveyed the organizers, special guests, designers and models around for the two day event.

The Easy Taxi crew was seen at The Palms Shopping Mall Lekki for the Model Catwalk and also the Ikoyi link bridge where the models flounced around in their uniquely designed outfits to showcase the various outfit from the designers.

It was truly an exciting experience for the client engagement manger, Easy Taxi Nigeria as she had the privilege of interacting with the models, designers and organizers of the event. Some of the designer labels present included Lomzy Nigeria, Ohlanna by Zikora amongst others.

Commenting on the event, she said that ‘when Easy Taxi Nigeria first heard that the organizers of African Fashion Week London had decided to hold a similar event in Nigeria, we were really excited as we knew that it would be a platform that allows young and upcoming designers showcase their designs to the international community and Easy Taxi is a brand that identifies with the young and upcoming as well as the already established.

According to Bankole Cardoso, CEO, Easy Taxi, the event gave Easy Taxi Nigeria an opportunity to show people what Easy Taxi is all about.
