NAIJA FM COMEDY & AWARDS NIGHT

Popular pidgin radio station, NAIJA FM 102.7 is set to feature the finest of the comedy industry as it celebrates its second anniversary with the ‘NAIJA FM COMEDY & AWARDS NIGHT’ billed to hold on the 3rd of November at Banilux Events Centre in Yaba. The event will start by 5pm.

The show will also include an awards ceremony, where NAIJA FM presenters will hand over awards to comedians in various categories as voted for exclusively by Naija FM listeners. Award categories include comedian of the year, comedy event of the year, TV comedy show of the year just to mention few.

Naija Fm will also be inducting its first ever honoree into the Naija FM Comedy Hall of Fame. Performing on the night are A-List music acts and comedians such as Davido, Chuddy K, Ajebutter22, AY, MC Abbey, Koffi, and many more.

The Williams Sisters Live in Lagos

Tennis champions, Venus and Serena Williams will land in Lagos at the end of October as the first leg of the recently launched ‘Breaking the Mould’ (BTM) women’s empowerment initiative that has already garnered international support.

While in Nigeria,(30 October – 2 November 2012), the dynamic duo will inspire, motivate and mentor a broad range of audiences through a series of supporting initiatives which include; lectures, a gala dinner and an exhibition match which will also be the first time the sisters will pit their strengths against one another in Nigeria.

This will underpin BTM’s mission to recognize and acknowledge the role that women play in shifting perceptions and encouraging development on all levels across the African continent.

Hairdressers Conference and Exhibition 2012

NIGERIA's style, with specific reference to the hair industry, is set for the first ever Hairdressers Conference & Exhibition billed to hold at Times Square Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos on October 25.

The unique event put together by Hair Media, is designed to propel the hair industry forward, in line with international standards, provide an interactive forum for networking, re-define hairdressing as a delightful occupation, bring hairdressers closer to the manufacturers and distributors as well as educating hairdressers on current hair styles and hair care products.
