The MUSON annual festival of Classical music, Jazz, Dance and Drama is here again.  Starting on October 17, 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the Agip Recital Hall, MUSON Centre on Thursday, October 17 @ 6pm  they will share their musical choices in the programme MY KIND OF MUSIC.

JAZZ FESTIVAL will feature the Afro beat King Femi Kuti and Afro Jazz soul Diva Yinka Davies on Saturday, October 19,  6pm, at the Shell Nigeria Hall, MUSON Centre.

CLASSICAL CONCERT: A two hours riveting performance featuring MUSON Artistic Director, Maestro Thomas Kanitz (Cello) multi -award winning pianist, Lin Lin Fan, and renowned violinist, Ulf Klausenitzer, on Sunday, October 20, 6pm. 

YOUTH CONCERT: A competition among vocal & instrumental soloists for the youth between the ages of 14 to 21 on Thursday October 24 @ 2pm.

MUSON DAY: A members only event will be an evening of Latin American music, Tango and many more. Featuring MUSON Artistic Director, Maestro Thomas Kanitz (Cello) multi -award winning pianist, Lin Lin Fan, and renowned violinist, Ulf Klausenitzer and award-winning composer and pianist Ayo Bankole jnr (piano). on Friday October 25 @ 6pm. 

If you are a lover of stage DRAMA, then you must see ‘Echoes of the Lagoon’ written by Chief Rasheed Gbadamosi,.  It is a rib-cracking commentary on Lagos life. Date: Saturday, October 26. Two shows, 3 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. at the Agip Recital Hall, MUSON Centre.

GALA CONCERT: A performance of excerpts from celebrated operas and oratorios like Handel’s Messiah, Carmen, Porgy and Bess and many more. It will feature Victoria Oruwari (London based soprano), the world acclaimed MUSON Orchestra and Choir, and other distinguished top Nigerian soloists; Guchi Egbunine (Tenor), John-Paul Ochei (Baritone), Fatima Anyekema (Mezzo-Soprano), Naomi Samuel (Soprano), Obinna Ifediora (Baritone), Ranti Ihimoyan (Soprano), Chizuru Mbazuigwe (Tenor) and Nkiru Andrew (Soprano). Date: Sunday October 27 @ 6pm.
