National Conference on the Environment

The biophysical environment is constantly being degraded by human activity compounded by the pressures of population and technology. Whilst the role of government is key, protecting the environment is the responsibility of all stakeholders, including industry, indigenous groups, environmental groups and the general population. The purpose of the conference is to engage all stakeholders in a process to determine how the environment can be managed for a sustainable and secure future.
The conference shall bring all stakeholdersin the Nigerian environment, including government agencies, Manufacturers, Oil Companies, Power Operators, International organisations (WHO, UNEP, EU, etc.), together,to consider and agree on a common agenda for environmental sustainability and social welfare.
