The new Green Economy is gaining
global momentum and Nigeria must not be excluded from efforts to ensure
environmentally friendly, profitable production methods for businesses
and clean, sustainable cooking and energy sources for homes.
As part of its contribution to this drive, the Carbon Credit Network
(CCN) has identified a viable self-sustaining business model capable of
supporting these goals through a variety of innovative renewable energy
products such as clean cook stoves and lighting technologies which are
clean, low cost, safe and 100% renewable. We are set to end Kerosene
Generation!
Carbon Credit Network (CCN), a grass root social marketing movement
patterned after the UNFCCC clean development mechanism (CDM) methodology
is a project arm of SMEFUNDS, a social company geared towards reducing
over dependence on fossil fuel by low income households in Africa while
fighting climate change, respiratory problem, lung infection and bad
eyesight in children. We are building a growing network of Green
Ambassadors who are trained and empowered to educate and distribute our
innovative renewable energy products, we are making significant inroads
into converting many users away from the traditional fossil fuels and
towards clean energy.
As we celebrate our first anniversary, showcase successes and ability
to overcome the challenges of today’s’ energy crises, we invite you to
join us to officially unveil Carbon Credit Network and the launch the
National Clean Cook stove Program.
