moving rendition from her highly anticipated debut album Mother Tongue; a
stirring piece of story telling, a perfect fusion of oral traditions

Even with a wave of international recognition including a Canadian Authors Association Award winning collection of poetry, speaking alongside world renowned poets at the 2011 Achebe Colloquium on Africa and being hand picked to meet acclaimed poet Maya Angelou, Titilopes feet are grounded in the home that raised her. Her style of orature has captured audiences across Canada and internationally.
On Saturday January 5th, she celebrates the release of Mother Tongue at Bogobiri House in an evening of stunning performance poetry and sultry grooves with very special guests.
