Popular pidgin radio station, NAIJA FM 102.7 is set to feature the finest of the comedy industry as it celebrates its second anniversary with the ‘NAIJA FM COMEDY & AWARDS NIGHT’ billed to hold on the 3rd of November at Banilux Events Centre in Yaba. The event will start by 5pm.

The show will also include an awards ceremony, where NAIJA FM presenters will hand over awards to comedians in various categories as voted for exclusively by Naija FM listeners. Award categories include comedian of the year, comedy event of the year, TV comedy show of the year just to mention few.

Tennis champions, Venus and Serena Williams will land in Lagos at the end of October as the first leg of the recently launched ‘Breaking the Mould’ (BTM) women’s empowerment initiative that has already garnered international support.

The second edition of the biggest male model search in Africa, Model of Africa has been billed to hold on October 14, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The 2012 African Fashion & Design Week

This October, the city of Port Harcourt will be lit up with all that is fashion and African.  The African Fashion & Design Week, organised by Bluepearl Services International (BSI),  is poised for global recognition with an aim to promote the business of fashion in Africa, nurture emerging talent, and take local talent global whilst bringing home global talent local.

The event will showcase the best in African and International fashion and design, with design exhibitions running during the daytime, and runway shows in the afternoon, press conferences, private cocktail parties for sponsors, VIPs, designers and celebrities, and live performances by top musical talents.

Le Reve Events Producers Of Hit Show MUSIC MEETS RUNWAY Is Proud To Announce MMR 2012 MODEL CASTING

Do you think you have what it takes to strut the runway at MMR 2012,  MMR is seeking young females/males who aspire to begin or have begun a career in modeling.

For female models come wearing black tights and a white or black vest top and a pair of heels, for male models come wearing a pair of jeans and white or black t-shirt.

Also, make sure to come with one full length photograph of yourself.
